# Man \& Machine: The \#Bionics Plan

I've been running one AI agent for weeks\. That changes today\.

For those following this series, you know Steve\. My primary agent\. He handles daily operations, research, home automation, scheduling, and exec support; the things that used to eat hours of my week\.

Steve has been good at this\. But there's a ceiling when one agent tries to carry everything\.

So I built a plan, and I'm calling it Bionics\.

The concept is straightforward: add a second agent, Jamie, and architect them to work together\. Not one agent doing it all\. Two agents with focused roles, running in parallel, coordinating output\.

Steve stays anchored on operations and daily execution\. Jamie comes in on the content and strategy side \- building context, running parallel tracks, and picking up where Steve's attention is already stretched\.

What I've learned running an AI agent this past year is that the real value isn't in having one smart system\. It's in the structure of clear roles, clean handoffs\. That's how good teams work\.

Turns out the same logic applies to agents\.

The name "Bionics" is intentional\. It's not just about augmenting my capability with technology\. It's about the agents augmenting each other\. Two purpose\-built systems working in concert, rather than one generalist doing everything solo\.

I'm still working out the exact division of labor\. The Bionics plan gives me a framework to think about AI not as a single tool, but as a coordinated layer of intelligence running alongside me\.

More to come as Steve and Jamie find their rhythm\. \-dg
