Man and Machine: How AI Is Changing the Way I Process Information

Over the last few months, the way I consume information has changed a lot.
It used to begin when I opened my laptop -> Email. Newsletters. RSS feeds. YouTube clips. Saved articles. Notes to myself. Plenty of good input, but too much of it arriving as a pile.

Now a meaningful part of that work happens overnight.

While I am sleeping, my system is pulling in newsletters, checking RSS feeds, scanning the YouTube channels I care about, and picking up research I have dropped into the workflow myself. Then it starts sorting. Some of it gets scored for relevance. Some of it gets grouped by theme. Some of it gets routed into specific pipelines depending on what it is useful for.

By morning, I'm no longer looking at the whole internet. I am looking at a filtered version of the world I actually need.

Some of that lands in my morning briefing so I can start the day with a tighter view of what deserves attention. Some of it gets pushed toward Man & Machine if it says something useful about how people are actually working with AI. Some of it moves into HIPS if it points to where financial infrastructure is heading. Some of it becomes input for AI Operator work if it helps me develop a larger thesis.

The routing matters as much as the source.

The same piece of information can help me run my day, sharpen a point of view, or sit in the background until it connects with something else later. That continuity is what makes the system valuable. I feel less reactive, more deliberate, and much clearer about what deserves my attention.

For me, this is one of the most practical uses of AI.

It helps me build structure around what I read, what I keep, and what I act on.
How are you deciding what deserves your attention now, before the day gets away from you?
